CLDF and the British Liver Trust have merged - we are the only UK charity for all liver conditions. We support parents, children, young people and adults affected, through tailored support and information, and we campaign for improved early detection and better treatment and care.

Story

On 30 August 2025, I had a liver transplant — something I never imagined I would need, but which completely changed my life.

I’m taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, walking 24 miles and climbing three mountains in under 12 hours, to raise money for the British Liver Trust.

The British Liver Trust supports people like me before, during and after transplant, and funds vital research, information and support for those affected by liver disease.

This challenge will be tough, but I’m doing it out of gratitude — for my donor and their family who gave me my second chance at life, the medical teams, and the support that helps people like me move forward after transplant.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much.

Thank you for supporting the British Liver Trust and for being part of my journey
