Story
This year, I’m running the Barcelona Half Marathon to raise funds for PIMA Palestine, a charity working to provide essential medical aid, education, and support to Palestinian communities.
Taking on 21km will be a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the daily struggles faced by so many people living under hardship. As an Irishman, I know how deeply our history is marked by struggle, oppression, and loss — and that’s why I feel it’s so important to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people as they face the horrors of genocide today. Ireland has always recognised the importance of speaking out against injustice, and I want to do my part by supporting the vital work PIMA is doing: providing medical aid, education, and hope for families in desperate need.
I’ve been training hard, and on race day I’ll be giving it my all — but I can’t do it alone. With your generosity, every mile I run will help make a difference.
Please donate if you can. No matter how small, every contribution counts.
Thank you for your support, it means the world.
