Many years ago our beautiful little 18 month old George started to choke we were fortunate to be able to call 999 and one of the three vehicles that was dispatched was a St John's ambulance. Thankfully we dislodged the blockage and so the journey to hospital was more precaution than the blues and twos we feared.

In honour of this and in preparation of the marathon I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for this great cause.
