Story

May I firstly thank you for your interest in my Just Giving Page.

In October I am cycling 474km (295 miles) in Kenya over 6 days within a total trip length of 10 days. This is with, and in support of Transaid who are a most worthwhile of charities, operating in the road transport sector.

Since taking part in Cycle Zambia back in 2018, I continued to support Transaid and this included my taking a voluntary role as an Ambassador. This has allowed me to even better appreciate the work Transaid do.

Transaid continue to focus on professional driver training, transport management systems, road safety initiatives and access to transport in developing countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Their work includes providing Emergency Transport Scheme's involving the building and use of bicycle ambulances for accessing challenging rural locations.

All monies raised on this page will be for the total benefit Transaid. This is to say that all the costs for the trip itself (flights, food & accommodation etc) are being covered by myself personally with support from my employer Commercial Fuel Solutions Ltd.

I sincerely thank you for your support.
