As you may know I have completed a few half marathons over previous years in my hometown of Leicester for both personal achievement and raising money for charities. This year I have secured a place in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 6 April 2025. Tommy’s is the charity partner and although I am not running for team Tommy, this charity is close to my heart having had 2 premature babies born at 32 and 35 weeks and is the main driver for me taking part in this event. I will however, be running on behalf of The Children's Trust which is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury delivering rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people and their families. I am looking forward to taking in the sites running the course but more importantly knowing I will be raising money through your kind donations for The Children's Trust.
