Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year, after last years disappointment. I will once again be attempting to run the Lakeland 100, a 105 mile loop of the Lake District. The race is widely considered one of the toughest in the UK. With around 6500 meters (21,000ft) of ascent & descent. Highly unpredictable weather, deep bogs and sleep deprivation to content with.
I’m a big supporter of Midshires Search and Rescue as I see the huge amount of thankless work they do, first hand (my brother volunteers with them). They are run entirely by volunteers, and funded entirely by donations. They regularly save lives. With volunteers often heading straight to their day jobs after spending all night assisting with flood evacuations, or searching for missing persons. In multiple occasions, they’ve been recognised for their efforts, with royal medals. Unfortunately though, medals don’t keep the lights on! So please consider helping me raise as much money as possible, by donating whatever you can afford.
Thank you ❤️
