I am raising money for Transaid as part of the CILT(UK) team because it brings together two causes I care deeply about: using logistics to improve lives and giving something back through our profession.

Transaid does outstanding work across Africa, helping communities access safer transport, road safety training, and stronger healthcare supply chains. It shows how professional skills in transport and logistics can make a real humanitarian difference.

Being part of the CILT team is also about representing our profession in a positive way—showing that logistics is not just about moving goods, but about creating access, opportunity, and resilience for people who need it most.
