I'm proud and privileged to be participating in the London marathon having been selected by the Lord Mayor of Westminster's office to run for one of his chosen charities, Hotel School.

Hotel School helps homeless and other vulnerable people into jobs in the hospitality industry through education and connecting them with employers. Their 10-week programme combines theory, hands-on experience, and industry visits to provide the skills and confidence to land a job and excel in it.

I will also be carring the flag (so to speak) for all cancer survivors. Having been treated for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2020 I'll be thinking of all those amazing people who got me through such a difficult stage of my life. 4 years' later I suffered from a deep vein thrombosis also, so hope the 60cm of deep vein stents will hold up!
