Anyone who knows my family would tell you we are the biggest animal lovers ever. My daughters dream is to work with animals and Immingham Dogs Home opened their arms and welcomed my family and I in to volunteer... several years on and this is now a weekly (rare occasions bi-weekly) role now with Alyssa seeing this as her job.

During our time volunteering I am amazed each week at the first class love and care provided to these dogs by Kelly and her team at Immingham Dogs Home.

Immingham Dogs Home are a not for profit charity, providing accommodation, food, warmth and medical care to surrendered and stray Dogs from up and down the country.

With spiralling costs of necessities such as food, medication, warmth and housing providing everything these animals need is becoming increasingly challenging.

With this in mind I am looking to complete a triathlon which although I would class myself as a "Sporty" person, will stretch the limits of what I believe my body can do having only completed a 10km run one alongside a couple of 5km runs let alone without the added activities of swimming and cycling.
