Story
As a NatWest pensioner I’m joining a team of ex colleagues looking to undertake a 10 mile walk from Eastleigh to Bursledon on 25th September in aid of Dementia UK.
It’s part of a special event ‘One Week in September’ where NatWest colleagues come together to raise money for charity. This year NatWest England is fundraising for Dementia UK, a charity providing life-changing support for families affected by dementia.
Some of the team will be going further, walking 26 or even 40 miles that day but 10 will be enough for me!
If you can spare a few pounds for this worthwhile cause I’d be very grateful. Thank you.
Fundraising Message for Dementia UK
Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia - it's one of the biggest health challenges of our time. Families affected are often left feeling exhausted and overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn.
That is why Dementia UK is here. Their nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, specialist advice, support and understanding to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed.
When you support Dementia UK, you are helping to grow the number of specialist dementia nurses. Together, we can help ensure that no one has to face dementia alone.
We invite you to join us in this important mission. Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of families navigating this challenging journey.
