Story
It is a while since my last charity challenge (3 Peaks) but I was talked in to taking part in Big Kev's 250 Mile Bike Ride by a couple of people I work with - the ride is over 3 days, so it will be a tough challenge.
Starting from Ghent we cycle to Antwerp to get us moving (47 miles) and after a stay overnight we head for Verviers (100 miles) - these two days are the relatively flat ones. The third day is 102 miles to Luxembourg City with plenty of hills, just what you need after two previous days in the saddle!
In order for all money raised to go to the charities chosen this year, riders taking part have paid the ferry and accommodation costs themselves in order to join this challenge.
As this will be a physical and mental challenge ticking off the many miles in the saddle, please can I ask you to dig deep and make a contribution!
Every penny raised goes straight to the five incredible charities and the children, young people and families they support: CASPA, Wheelpower, St Elizabeth, Taylor Made Dreams, ELHAP
