Why We're Stepping/ Moving for Crisis

As a collective team across Planning & Productivity, we’re stepping into autumn with purpose. From 13 October to 23 November, we’re taking part in the Steps/Movement for Crisis challenge to raise vital funds and awareness for Crisis, the UK’s national charity for people experiencing homelessness.

This time of year can be tough, darker days, colder weather, and the pressure of year-end. That’s exactly why we’re coming together: to boost motivation, strengthen connections, and support one another through movement and meaning.

We’re also walking/ moving in solidarity with our colleague Julie, who will be trekking across the Sahara Desert with 89 colleagues in LBG's signature challenge for Crisis at the end of Nov this year.

Every step we take brings us closer to ending homelessness. Please support us and this amazing cause. Together, we can make a real difference.

Crisis, Lloyds Banking Group and Simon Community believe everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home.

Our ambitious partnership will improve access to truly affordable, high quality homes and support those who have experienced homelessness with tailored support to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.

Together, we have surpassed £3 Million in fundraising from the partnership. This is an incredible achievement but we can't stop here. More people than ever across the UK are facing homelessness and are in need of our support.,

Homelessness is not inevitable, together we can end it.
