The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

In 2005 I was part of a team that trekked the Inca Trail to raise money for Christie. I knew little really of the work that Christie did back then. Fast forward 17 years and I started out on an unexpected relationship with a team of incredible professionals in Christie that continues to this day.

To me, Christie is not just a small medical village in West Didsbury, it is a place where amazing, intuitive people change lives. We are so fortunate to have this world leading facility on our doorstep. Please do whatever you can to support Christie because, like me, you never know when you or a loved one might have your own experience of why Christie is so treasured by those whose life it touches.

So, in 2024 I will be trying my best not to hold back a team of young and enthusiastic Hill Dickinson colleagues when we take on the 'Lakes 10 Peak challenge' which will see us summit 10 peaks on just one day.
