Back in November 2023, my then 7yr old daughter Lottie was diagnosed with a brain tumour, Ewing Sarcoma to be precise. Nothing can prepare you for that sledgehammer. Cancer doesn't discriminate. Since that day, Lottie has received 14 rounds of gruelling chemotherapy and 30 intense sessions of Proton Beam Therapy Treatment.

Lottie is now back in school and getting back to some kind of normality, although we are still visiting the hospital every 2 months for chest Xrays and MRI scans.

Along the journey, you meet some incredible people, nurses, hospital staff, support workers/nurses, parents travelling the same journey and some amazing small, local charities who do incredible work to help the patients (and parents!) It's one of these, I want to raise a few quid for - Holly’s Hearts. Holly's hearts are a local, non profit charity who create heartwarming memories for children with cancer.
