Story
I'm seeing first hand how incredibly tough it is for those living with Alzheimers Disease. It also greatly affects those who care for the sufferer. Very often this is close family members who have to helplessly watch the steady decline. Unsung heroes every one of them.
I had the idea of a challenge as a tribute to my mother in law. I've since learned how widespread this dreadful disease is in the UK. There's plenty of people in my close circle of friends who have family affected.
Alzheimers Research UK are a leading dementia research charity. They exist "for a cure". Your donation will help scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure.

I love my running. This challenge is going to test not only my fitness, but my mental fortitude. Its going to be incredibly tough............but then, as I said at the outset, living with Alzheimers is incredibly tough too. I hope you feel able to offer some support.
