Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We have unfortunately been made aware of funding cut that means one of our young people is no longer able to access life changing medication. He suffered from Steven-Johnsons Syndrome following a reaction to medication prescribed to manage symptoms of HIV, which he was born with. This has meant a lifelong eye condition requiring medication on a regular basis. If I can raise the whole £350, we can fund his medication for a full year. This is made up of £20 a month (£240) for eye drops and £7.50 per month (£90) for artificial tears. Any extra funding will go to the pot for next year's payments. We are only funding his medicine, the healthcare provided by Dr Mhizha at The Eye Clinic in Harare remains free of charge for him.
