In 2024, after completing the Marathon des Sables, Andrew Walsh put together a new trekking challenge called Line of Fire. The aim is to scale six volcanoes in six days in Nicaragua, running walking and climbing a total of 6500 meters over a distance of 65 km, covering unforgiving terrain including cloud forest, shale and volcanic pumice. In February 2025 Andew, Paul and Jordan Walsh will complete the challenge.

I am raising money for The Ridgeway School. It is a special school for young people with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, additional and complex needs, from the ages of 2 to 19. The school is fundraising for virtual reality headsets to support pupils’ sensory development.
