Having secured a place in the London Marathon, I wanted to give something back to my beloved community of Hockley.

As a resident for over 50 years, I have witnessed the incredible impact of The Hockley and Hawkwell Day Centre first hand. This remarkable centre provides a safe haven for local residents, offering them a place to connect, enjoy delicious meals, and have fun.

The dedication and enthusiasm of the volunteers at the centre truly impressed me. They work tirelessly to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through their doors. However, there is one area that needs urgent attention - their kitchen.

I am determined to make a difference by raising funds for the much-needed kitchen upgrade at The Hockley and Hawkwell Day Centre. With your support, we can transform their kitchen into a modern space that will enhance their ability to serve nutritious meals to those in need.
