Mendip Male Voice choir is challenging the men of Mendip to sing with the choir this autumn.

They will get expert professional leadership and the support of the whole choir - and a great deal of fun, enjoyment and a sense of achievement as they work towards singing with the choir at its annual Christmas Concert. Encouraged by the sponsorship of their supporters, their efforts will help raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

My dad and a number of my friends have been successfully treated for prostate cancer, but it still kills too many men every year. I'm raising funds in memory of my dad and to try and ensure fewer men in the future will go through that experience.

Joining the choir might sound like an easy option, but it's not! Learning the bass part to 19 songs before the Christmas concert on December 18th is a steep learning curve, but one I'm happy to take on. Any and all support along the way is greatly appreciated!
