Paula's fundraiser for a Defibrillator for Disabled Ramblers

Paula Brunt is raising money for Disabled Ramblers
The Disabled Ramblers is a small charity working across England and Wales to help make the countryside more accessible to people with limited mobility – which benefits everyone. We campaign to raise awareness of the needs of people with limited mobility and organise a national programme of rambles for people who use mobility scooters.

Story

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page. I am fundraising for Disabled Ramblers to help buy a defibrillator that could make a vital difference when every second matters.

I have had to perform CPR on two separate occasions, and sadly, one person did not survive. I will never know whether a defibrillator nearby might have changed the outcome, but I do know I would have used one straight away if it had been available. That experience has stayed with me, and it is something I would never want anyone else to go through.

This fundraising goal is to raise £1,500 so Disabled Ramblers can move closer to having the equipment they need. Please consider donating if you can. Your support could help provide a life-saving resource and bring greater peace of mind to everyone involved.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Once you donate, your money goes directly to the charity, helping to save time and reduce costs.

Thank you for your kindness and support.

Paula
