My youngest son, Alfie, suffered a life threatening bleed on his brain from a freak accident in the garden during lockdown, May 2020, he was blue lighted to Sheffield Children’s hospital where the surgeons performed emergency brain surgery to drain the bleed and fix his fractured skull.

Alfie, 9, is now blissfully unaware of the severity of his injury and lives a happy, energetic life.

He currently plays football for 2 of the Snaith Junior teams and also is part of Hensall Cricket Club.

Words cannot describe how amazing all the staff at both Doncaster Royal Infirmary A&E and Sheffield Children’s hospital were, I will be eternally thankful for what they did for us and would love to be able thank them in some way.

We have some amazing prizes up for grabs and hope it will raise lots of money for such a worthy cause!
