Story
In 2020 a dear family member was diagnosed with cancer, a diagnosis no-one wants to hear. To have one cancer is bad enough but she was diagnosed with two. With the ongoing help of the staff at Derriford Hospital and treatment, she is still here. But the treament is ongoing.
The staff in The Mustard tree, provide valuable complementary therapies to help relieve the stress and strains of a cancer diagnosis. From reflexology to massage, breathing exercises, financial benefits advice,or a coffee and a chat when you are worried, they are there to support.
She would not be here now without the continued help from her support worker Helen, who goes above and beyond to be an emotional support or listening ear when needed.
I'm running the Jurassic Coast from Lyme Regis to Exmouth in the Jurassic Coast 100 to raise funds for them. It'll be a tough challenge but nothing to what a cancer patient goes through.
If you are able to donate, whatever you can afford, I would be most grateful. Many thanks
