I'm aiming to walk 26 miles from Swaffham to Holme Next the Sea on 27th September in aid of The QEHKL's end of life unit.

The unit, titled The Peddars Way Unit, provides patients with a dignified and comfortable place to receive care during their final days. We are raising funds to add those special finishing touches that transform this space into a soothing sanctuary.

Unfortunately my mum was unable to receive care within this beautiful unit, as it wasn’t available at that time, however, the kind, gentle, supportive staff who cared for mum, me and my family during her final days was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always available to answer my questions, give massive hugs and kind words. I would like to give something back as a thank you for everything they did for me and still give to me now. They are very special people and the unit is a beautiful, special place for families to spend time with their loved ones in their final days.
