Story
The Strictly event will be a great night in support of Saint Francis Hospice. I am lucky enough to be one of 7 dancers who will team up with a professional dancer to learn 2 dances and then perform on the night to compete for the Glitter Ball Trophy. Some of the points will be for tickets sold. It is a really exciting and slightly nerve wracking challenge but I know it will be fun and a great night for all who come to watch too.
I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me for this challenge to help fund the vital care provided by Saint Francis Hospice. Join me if you can on the night. https://thebrentwoodcentre.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/67405?catID=62171
I had several family members, and friends with family members who have benefited from the amazing care at Saint Francis. I also worked at the hospice for 10 years so I feel really pleased and privileged to be able to raise money for such a deserving cause in this unique way.
The last time I danced was at a ballroom taster session 40 years ago and I decided I would like to learn to dance but never got round to it. This is now my chance to do something I have always wanted to do whilst raising money for a charity close to my heart.
