One of our scout leaders is raising £500 for 1st Rayne Scouts by cycling from Sheppey Island in Kent to Weston-Super-Mare (around 205 miles) in a single day on the 21st June.

JOHN SAYS..

"This is going to be horrible, and some may know I tried this 2 years ago and completely broke 175 miles in.... This time I aim to do better and make it to the finish to ensure it is a good enough challenge to attract your money for the group.

1st Rayne has grown quickly as a group and alot of our equipment is old and needs replacing as well as additional equipment being needed to accommodate our higher membership numbers.

As a scout group we love adventure and are looking to start participating in international camps over the next couple of years. So we need to do lots of fundraising to help get our souts on their next adventure."

This is the first fundraiser for both assistance with travel costs and equipment for all our exciting and future adventures
