I am cycling across 50 countries over many years! I have done 17 so far - UK, Ireland, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Iceland, Ukraine, Malta, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey, Bulgaria... 33 to go! But I'm getting older!

I aim to cycle 80 miles a day (130km) and wild camp each night. I mainly enjoy it, but it's not always easy - Iceland was a pig. Snow in July. Winds so strong they knocked me off my bike. No shelter for 200km. Glaciers one side, lava and the Atlantic ocean on the other, while Arctic Terns attacked my head! Packs of wild dogs attacking me in Turkey and Ukraine. Wolves howling around my tent in Bulgaria. War in Ukraine.
