On Saturday, the 13th of June 2026, Finlay and I will be taking part in the Sunrise Trek across the Brecon Beacons in memory of our beloved Alfie. Acorns Children's Hospice supported Alfie for over 8 years through respite care, and in our hour of need, cared for him whilst he received end-of-life care 2 weeks after his 16th birthday in 2023. Acorns Children's Hospice continues to give support to us as a family, 2 years after Alfie's passing.

In the early hours of the 14th June 2026, we will summit on top of Pen Y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons, and along with other families who have lost loved ones, we will remember them and give support to this amazing charity that continues to be a lifeline for hundreds of families of children with life-limiting illnesses.

Every penny that we raise will help go a long way to help Acorns Children's Hospice give vital support to families, just like ours.

Alfie remains in our hearts, our thoughts, and in our dreams. In his memory, we will continue to support the work of Acorns Children's Hospice.
