As we approach our first wedding anniversary we are raising money for a charity very close to our hearts The Tony Hudgell Foundation (www.tonyhudgellfoundation.org) who provide grants and support for children who have been physically, emotionally, psychologically abused.

Over the past year they have been able to provide adapted car seats, specially made beds, adapted trikes, a holiday for a family where grandparents have taken on the children after being abused by their birth parent’s, iPad’s and equipment for a children’s hospital – these are to name a few.

We have both been inspired by Local Northam boy, Jack Hopkins BCyA, the 8 year old son of a friend of ours.  Jack was made an ambassador for this charity and has already raised over £7500 for this charity. By completing different challenges- 100Km run over 100 days in the winter, 50km walking when he was 5 and most recently a mini 10 tors on Dartmoor.
