Story
In October, I’ll be taking on my first ever Hyrox race — a challenging fitness event that tests endurance, strength, and mental toughness.
It’s a major personal milestone for me, and I wanted it to mean something more than just crossing the finish line.
That’s why I’ve chosen to raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). As a dad, a husband, I know how important it is for men to have a space where they feel heard, supported, and not judged.
The stigma around mental health – especially for men – is still far too real, and CALM is doing the work that needs to be done: helping people when they feel like they can’t go on, and being a lifeline in the darkest of moments.
This race isn’t about being the fastest or the strongest — it’s about showing up.
It’s about proving to myself and others that change is possible. That you can go from struggling to thriving, with the right mindset and the right support.
If my journey can help raise awareness, spark a conversation, or even save a life, then every step of training, every early morning run, and every drop of sweat is worth it.
