Teens Unite is raising money for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer

Team: Eurovia's team fundraising for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer

Three Peaks · 27 June 2025

Teens Unite supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. We inspire young people to recognise their potential now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full.

Story

I'm Taking on the Three Peaks Challenge!

I’ve never done anything like this before — the Three Peaks Challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) is way out of my comfort zone. As someone in my fifties who isn’t always active — aside from skiing and the occasional kickaround during weekly coaching sessions for an U16s team — this really is a big step for me. But I’m determined to give it a go.

This challenge is not just about pushing myself physically, but about raising awareness and money for a cause that truly matters. Teens Unite is a charity that improves the lives of teenagers and young adults living with and beyond cancer. They unite young people aged 13–24 who share the experience of cancer through activities and residential stays, enabling them to thrive in life and reach their potential. For teenagers and young adults, cancer has a lasting impact on their mental and physical health, education and employment, and friendships and relationships.

Unfortunately, cancer took my father away from me at a relatively young age, so raising awareness and supporting a charity that helps younger people to deal with this awful disease means a lot to me on a personal note.

So, I’ll be lacing up my boots, facing the mountains, and probably wondering what I’ve signed up for(!) — but I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got.

If you can, please donate and support the journey.

Thank you ❤️
