Story
I am taking part in the Great South Run In memory of my brother, Mark 'Lewy' Lewis, and to support a great local charity, Andy's Angels.
I have been running for around 18 months now with Worthing Striders and felt it was time to step up (or forward) and try and raise a bit of money for a charity that wholly deserves the support. Based in Worthing, Andy's Angels are a group of volunteers, my mother included, that provides a safe space for adults and children who are navigating their grief journey after the loss of a loved one. Their monthly Grief Café is a fantastic way for people, either alone or with their families, to spend some time away from home, have a cuppa whilst the children play, and spend time chatting with others with similar experiences and the charity workers.
Those of you that knew my brother, Mark, will remember what a funny, charming, cheeky, and proper chap he was. About time I did something like this to remember him, sorry it's taken so long bro!
