As many of you know last year our brave Dad/Husband/Grandad spent 10 days in the Martlets before he died on 24th July 2025.

Although this time was the hardest and saddest time we have all ever been through, the care my dad and our family received was amazing. From the nurses ensuring Dad was never in pain, to the support staff spoiling Penny, Mum and Dad's dog, to the cleaners ensuring we never had to lift a finger. Our time in The Martlets gave us a few days to make memories with Dad before he died and spend time together that we wouldn't have had anywhere else.

Mum, Tommy, Paul and I are taking part in The Night to Remember so that we can raise even a small amount of money to give back to The Martlets, in the hope they can continue to support other families the way they did ours.
