Story
After an unfortunate injury that forced me to forfeit my spot in the Brighton Marathon this year, I decided to focus on bouncing back stronger and taking on an even bigger challenge. As a result, I've signed up for the Scafell Pike Ultra Marathon on September 6th tackling Englands highest and the most prominent mountain.
After 8 weeks of injury rehab and a 25 week training programme, I will be running a total of 50km whilst climbing 1900m of elevation all to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK.
For the past 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has been funding essential research into the causes of childhood cancers, developing kinder treatments, and supporting initiatives that help children and their families throughout cancer treatment and beyond. Their work has made a significant impact, greatly improving childhood cancer survival rates and the quality of life for patients.
Please donate to this wonderful charity.
