This year on the 12th of May #TeamGaz is stepping out of our comfort zone to take part in the Leeds Half Marathon. We will be doing this with my amazing brother-in-law Gaz Holt, an incredible individual, who battles with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Other the past few years Gaz has performed various incredible challenges, including his remarkable 77km in 7 days around Salford Quays. His resilience and determination are an inspiration to us all, and I'm honored to support him in this journey against MND.

MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, affecting vital functions such as walking, talking, eating, drinking, and breathing. Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for MND. However, we refuse to let this discourage us.

Our goal is to support the MND Association in their vision of creating a world free from MND. With your help, we can make a difference. Every penny counts towards providing essential resources and assistance to those affected by this devastating disease.

By donating just £120, you could provide an overbed table that would greatly improve the quality of life for someone with MND. This simple addition would make it easier for them to eat, drink, and read safely and comfortably in bed.

For £280, you could fund the coordination of care for someone with MND at a Care Centre for an entire year. This support ensures that they receive the specialized care they need to navigate their daily challenges.

A donation of £500 could provide a tablet device equipped with specialist communication software. This invaluable tool would enable individuals with MND to stay connected with their loved ones and communicate effectively despite their physical limitations.
