Story

This July, I’ll be taking on the 26-mile Great Wiltshire Walk in support of Julia's House.

Every step will be for the children and families cared for by this incredible local children’s hospice.

Cancer charities have always been close to my heart after losing my mum to breast cancer at just 59 years old. Through my work in health and fitness, I’ve also met many people living with or recovering from cancer, which is another reason this challenge means so much to me.

As a child, I also spent a lot of time in and out of hospital after being born with dislocated hips and one leg longer than the other. Over the years I’ve had multiple operations and spent much of my life working to build my strength and mobility to be able to take on challenges like this.

That’s why this walk feels personal to me, but more importantly, this is about supporting children and families facing battles far tougher than anything I’ve experienced.

Julia’s House provides specialist care for children with life-limiting and complex conditions, while also supporting exhausted families through incredibly difficult times with compassion, dignity and care.

If you’re able to support me, no matter how small the donation, I’d be hugely grateful.

Thank you ❤️
