I am taking on a huge challenge with Irish rugby legend Rory Best and a team of business leaders – to walk 9 marathons in 9 days, between 12th-20th September 2026, covering over 235 miles throughout Ireland in aid of Cancer Fund for Children which is a charity that is very close to my heart.

Every step taken will help ensure that Cancer Fund for Children can continue to expand its support for families impacted by childhood cancer across Ireland. Together, we will walk to ensure that no child faces cancer alone, and we need your support to make this happen.

Cancer Fund for Children supports seriously ill children and their families in hospitals, at home, and at its therapeutic short-break centre, Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down. Due to growing demand, a second Daisy Lodge is currently under construction in Cong, Co. Mayo and it is due to open next year.

The funds raised through this challenge will enable Cancer Fund for Children to continue to provide vital support to these children and their families right across our island.
