Animal Free Research UK is trying to create a kinder future for people and animals by funding cutting‑edge, human‑specific research that replaces animal experiments in medical research. Did you know that last year there were 2,537,507 procedures on animals of which 17,317 were on specially protected species like cats, dogs, horses and monkeys. 92% of the new drugs that are found to be successful in animal tests fail human trials.
