Story
In April 2026, I will be running my first ever half-marathon at the London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising funds for an important cause and in memory of a dear friend.
In 2023, we lost our dear friend Josh, who died by suicide. He was the kindest soul I knew, a man who had time and a thoughtful word for everyone. Josh loved people and connected with them effortlessly, and in turn people connected through him. He was the beating heart of our friendship group, always thinking of ways to bring us together across timezones and continents, and he loved nothing more than when we were all together.

Josh is missed by two beautiful sons Scott and Oskar, his beloved wife Maggie, his loving parents and brothers, and the numerous people whose lives he touched, including a large group of friends who adored him.

Coming to terms with Josh's passing has been a difficult process that is still ongoing. The loss of a person close to you is always challenging, but especially so for children and young people. This is why I wanted to raise some funds for a charity like Grief Encounter, who support children and young people who have experienced bereavement through activities like counselling, therapy, workshops and Family Days.

Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really means a lot to me and will make a massive difference.
