This World Veterinary Day, we are celebrating the remarkable dedication of veterinary professionals worldwide, while also shedding light on the crucial issue of mental health in the profession.

In June 2024, we will embark on a challenge to climb Yr. Wyddfa (Mt. Snowdon), alongside our colleagues from Covetrus, Veterinary Instrumentation, and Technology Solutions, all to raise vital funds for Vetlife.

We are proud supporters of the charity Vetlife, and are dedicated to raising awareness of their services. Vetlife offer a wide range of confidential support services, tailored to the unique challenges that veterinary professionals face.

Unfortunately, the industry bears one of the highest suicide rates among all occupations. The statistics are undeniable and it’s a sobering reality that hits close to home for many of us. Sadly, one of our colleagues lost a dear friend and exceptional veterinarian, John Ellis. His passing was not only a huge loss for those who knew him, but a reflection of the mental health challenges silently endured by many within the profession.
