In 2014, our founding Partner, Stuart Forsdike, chose Papworth Trust as PCS Legal’s charity partner - not only because he is passionate about their incredible work, but also because every penny raised goes directly to the charity. Our support is focused on the Papworth Basildon Centre, which is close to our head office and our hearts.

Papworth Trust supports adults with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and those with profound and complex needs, helping them to live as independently as possible. Their mission is simple but powerful - to provide disabled people with equality, choice, and independence.

Since partnering with Papworth Trust, our colleagues and supporters have raised over £39,000 through marathons, cycle rides, golf days, and countless fundraising events. In 2024 alone, we raised an incredible £15,000 - funding the creation of a dedicated Games Room at the Basildon Centre, providing a welcoming space that promotes relaxation, fun, and social connection. This reflects PCS Legal’s values perfectly: supporting wellbeing and making a difference while having fun along the way.

In 2025, our fundraising continued, and thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, friends, and community, we raised a further £4,000 for Papworth Trust.

Now, in 2026, PCS Legal proudly celebrates 20 years in business - and to mark this milestone, we are setting our biggest goal yet: to raise £20,000 for Papworth Trust throughout the year.

We regularly visit the Basildon centre and see firsthand the life-changing impact of these funds. Every donation helps improve the everyday lives of their customers - and we would love your support as we work towards this year’s goal.
