Two blokes in their 50s. Two mountain bikes. One slightly ridiculous challenge.

On 10th September 2026, we'll be riding 600km across South Africa in just six days, taking on the legendary Go2C Mountain Bike Race from Clarens to Ballito.

A few years ago, neither of us would have thought this sounded like a sensible idea. To be honest, we're still not entirely convinced.

What we started as weekend rides around Essex somehow escalated into early morning training sessions, muddy trails, aching legs, and now one of the toughest mountain bike races in the world.

We're taking on this challenge to raise money for SNAP Charity, an incredible organisation that supports children and young people with additional needs, along with their families. The work they do makes a real difference every single day, and we're proud to be riding in support of such a fantastic cause.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help SNAP continue providing vital support to the families who need it most. And, if we're honest, it'll also give us a little extra motivation when we're questioning our life choices somewhere in the South African wilderness.

Supporting families across Essex with children between 0-25 years who have any additional need or disability. No formal diagnosis or professional referral is necessary to access SNAP services.
