Story
Hello Everyone!
For some reason, I have signed up for a Marathon. You might be wondering, didn't you do one of those 6 years ago? When you were much fitter, lighter, blonder and didn't you say you'd never ever do it again because it was really hard?
Yeah I did, but I also said I'd consider it if I could do it for a really great charity, like Doctors Without Borders.
Well, when I was asked if I would like to run Manchester Marathon for Médecins Sans Frontières, I said "yes please sign me up I'd love to fundraise for an organisation that goes above and beyond in humanitarian aid."
So on 19th April 2026 I will be running 42.1km, if you would like to support this amazing charity, and motivate my 32year old knees to pound some pavement for several hours, please donate here. Your generosity is highly appreciated.
🌟🌟Highest donator will be thanked in a cake of their choosing, so donate big and get carbs. 🌟🌟
(Opening donation is from me, to me, because I hope this run goes well for myself)
If you'd like to see how my training is going so far, you can follow me on strava here:

And you can learn more about the wonderful charity below, and thank you again <3
Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.
How can your support help?
- £21 can help pay for masks to resuscitate three newborn babies.
- £43 could pay for a blood pressure monitor to help detect underlying health issues
- £95 could provide antiretroviral drugs for a year for one person living with HIV/AIDS.
- £153 could buy a basic surgical kit, enabling an MSF surgeon to carry out surgery.
- £306 can pay for an emergency kit to dress 100 wounds.
Thank you
