Story

In Memory of My Dad

This year, I am taking on the challenge of a lifetime with my Father in Law Damian, who is also off his head and said yes to this adventure — we are climbing Mont Blanc, cycling 875km through France with over 4000m of ascent, rowing across the English Channel, and running 145km to Buckingham Palace. This is Peak to Palace, and I’m doing it in memory of my dad.

My dad was my hero. He was my role model. But sarcoma—a rare and aggressive form of cancer—took him from us far too soon. Sarcoma is difficult to diagnose, hard to treat, and progresses rapidly. Many people have never even heard of it until it affects them or someone they love.

I’m raising money for Sarcoma UK, a charity dedicated to funding life-changing research, improving early diagnosis, and supporting those affected by this devastating disease. Every pound donated will help provide hope to families facing sarcoma and bring us closer to better treatments.

The money will go to

- Vital research into understanding Sarcoma and looking into cures

- Supporting individuals and families affected by Sarcoma cancer

- Spreading awareness for GPs and specialist to understand early symptoms

This challenge will push me to my limits, but it’s nothing compared to what those fighting sarcoma go through every day. If you can, please donate—every little bit makes a difference.

Thank you for your support.
