3 Mountains ^ 24 Hours ^ 1 Cause

A group of us will be taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge in June, attempting to climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours, to raise money for The Wisdom Hospice.

This challenge is deeply personal to us. Many in our group have had family members cared for by The Wisdom Hospice, and some have sadly lost loved ones there. We have seen first-hand the compassion, dignity and comfort the hospice provides, not only to patients but to their families during the most difficult times.

The Wisdom Hospice is an extraordinary place, that not only offers warmth, respect and humanity at the end of life, but vital support for families when they need it most.

Hospices rely heavily on donations to keep running. What many people don’t realise is that on top of government funding and grants the hospice has to raise an additional £3,000 every day to provide the care, support, and specialist staff that patients and families rely on. If we can raise enough to fund just one full day of care, that would be an incredible achievement.

This challenge is about more than climbing mountains. It’s about friendship, gratitude, personal challenges and coming together to give something back. By pushing ourselves physically and mentally, we hope to help The Wisdom Hospice continue its incredible work for others when they need it most.
