Story

The inspiration behind Alex and Charlie’s immense challenge and why we're pushing ourselves to ride over 300km in just 24 hours! 💙

Henry, Charlie's lovely son, was born via C-section at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and everything seemed perfect. After an amazing 16 hours at home, things took a sudden turn. Henry was rushed to A&E, where the incredible team saved his life.

Due to the severity of his condition, Henry was transferred to King’s Hospital Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where their expert care set him on the road to recovery. While Henry still undergoes regular check-ups for potential long-term health concerns, every moment with him at home is cherished.

To give back for the life-saving work of the NHS and King’s PICU, Charlie Langley and Alex Jackson are taking on the London to Paris cycle in 24 hours. As King’s PICU is partly charity-funded, your donations will help them continue providing vital care to families like Henry's. Any support would mean the world to them!
