Story
This World AIDS Day, I’m running the 5K RED RUN for Positive East — London’s leading HIV charity fighting stigma, inequality, and silence. They offer free testing, counselling, and community care for thousands of people every year — and they remind us that health is a right, not a privilege.
Here’s why it matters:
• Because stigma still kills.
• Because access to treatment shouldn’t depend on who you are or who you love.
• Because too many people still suffer in silence when they should be living loudly.
I’m running in memory of Gabriel Gándara — my best friend, my chosen family, the happiest soul I’ve ever known — who didn’t get the treatment he needed because shame stood in the way. This run is for him, and for everyone whose story deserved a fairer ending.
Let’s do this because:
❤️ Every step is an act of defiance.
💪 Every pound raised funds real change and real care.
🌈 Every conversation chips away at stigma.
So run, donate, share, shout — whatever your pace, join me.
Let’s make noise, raise funds, and run for love, life, and equality.
