A number of activities throughout the year to support organ transplantation

Transplant Sport is a registered charity whose main aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation. We organise sports and social events for transplant recipients to improve health and well being whilst actively promoting organ donation.

Story

As a recipient of a kidney transplant, I am thrilled to be fundraising for Transplant Sport UK who support me in my efforts to keep active and participate in competitive sports. I am celebrating 5 years of a successful transplant and a new lease of life for me. I have put together a team of well-wishers, #Team5yearson, who are either supporting or participating in a number of activities with me to celebrate the incredible gift of life that organ donation provides.

Activities completed/to be completed this year are:

- 12th World Transplant Winter Games

- London Marathon 2024 MyWay

- London Bridges Walk 2024

- London to Brighton Bike Ride

And many more!!!

My personal challenge is to raise £1,500 in support of this vital cause. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and help us move closer to our goal. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those living with an organ transplant.

This fundraising will be specifically going towards Transplant Sport UK support for my activities in winter sports. With your generous support, we can ensure that Transplant Sport UK continues its important work in advocating for organ donation and supporting transplant recipients. Your donation through JustGiving is secure and efficient, directly benefiting the charity and those they serve. Join me in this journey of hope and healing as we stand together for the gift of life. #poweredbythegiftoflife
