This February, I am participating in the Big Winter Roam 2024, a walk event that aims to make a difference in the lives of cats and kittens in need. I'll post regular updates on my progress to the goal of 15 miles.

I am raising funds for Cats Protection, the UK's largest cat welfare charity. With their dedicated network of around 200 volunteer-run branches and 34 centers, Cats Protection helps approximately 157,000 cats and kittens every year.

As an animal lover, I have always been passionate about supporting organizations that prioritize the well-being of our furry friends. Cats Protection is where I got our cat Vega, obviously the best cat in the world! As they did for Vega, they provide care, shelter, and medical assistance to cats who have nowhere else to turn. Their tireless efforts ensure that these beautiful creatures get a second chance at life.

By taking part in the Big Winter Roam 2024, I hope to spread the positive message "Adopt, not shop!" and spread awareness that animals, just as much as human beings, need to be taken care of in their time of need.
