Story
Training is officially underway as Angelo from AKORN Financial Advice, alongside his brother Pas, Tom from Neurodivergent Perspectives, and good friend Ash Duxbury, prepare to take on the Pendleside Hospice Corporate Challenge for the fourth time on 18th September.
Over the years, the team has completed a Golf Marathon, an Ultra Duathlon, and an Ultra Marathon — and in true fashion, they are stepping things up once again with this year’s challenge: an Ultra Triathlon!
The challenge will see the team complete a gruelling 50km run, 100km bike ride, and 5-mile swim, all in support of Pendleside Hospice.
Starting and finishing at Pendleside Hospice, the team will push themselves through an intense multi-discipline endurance event in aid of the hospice and the incredible care it provides to local families across the community.
Having proudly supported the event multiple times before, the team knows exactly what lies ahead — but this year’s challenge promises to be tougher than ever. With months of training already underway, they are preparing both physically and mentally for one of their biggest tests yet.
Together, they hope to raise £5,000 for Pendleside Hospice, helping the charity continue its outstanding work supporting patients and families when they need it most.
Any support, donations, and encouragement throughout the journey will be hugely appreciated.
