Abseiling · 13 April 2024

We support charities and good causes on Hayling by providing our Mini Bus for transportation. We can also help with funding for them with innovative ideas that benefits those in need. This does depend on successful events and donations in raising funds. We have several Fund raising events per year.

Story

Brian will be abseiling down The National Tower Northampton on Saturday 13 April 2024 to raise funds for the Hayling Island Businessmen's Club in their 60th anniversary year.

HIBC support the local Hayling Island community and the surrounding areas in a number of ways. This includes funding a community mini bus which is used as transport for a number of organisations to enable their members to get out and about. Other donations include donating to the local Boxing club which works with children to enhance their fitness, team work and discipline; donations to local schools and the Hayling Island Community Christmas Day lunches.

Whilst HIBC raise their funds in many ways, including an annual barbecue, Brian enjoys raising monies in his own inimitable style. This time he will be abseiling down The National Tower which stands at 418 feet making it the tallest abseil tower in the world.

Brian will be there come rain or shine as if it rains the abseil takes place inside the tower!

Please be generous and sponsor Brian in his abseil knowing that all money raised will go to the exceptional Hayling Island Businessman's Club which has done so much for the local community of Hayling Island over the last 60 years and continues to do so in 2024 and beyond.
